Why does corona spread so much instead of being locked down?

A lock down is just a defensive method of fighting corona virus. It is not a fight. More aggressive steps must be taken by the Modi government. In simple words, Modi must become aggressive and fight the corona virus aggressively.

To be aggressive, Modi government must detect, test, treat, isolate, trace, and mobilize the people of India. Those districts with a handful of cases must aggressively prevent those cases from becoming clusters, and those districts having clusters must aggressively fight and prevent from becoming community transmission.

Even those districts with community transmission or large clusters in cities like Mumbai and Delhi, can turn the tide on this virus by aggressive fight by the Modi government.

Several countries like China and South Korea have demonstrated that this virus can be suppressed and controlled by being aggressive. Aggressive testing and tracing was done.

Just staying at home is a defensive first step, and will not achieve anything much, to fight the corona virus. In India, inspite of the 21-days lockdown by Modi, the number of corona virus cases are rising everyday, for the 21-days. The total corona cases in India are more than 10,000. It is time to ramp up the detection, and the testing. Modi government must do a large number of aggressive testing.
