India vs South Africa, 1st Test Day 1: HIGHLIGHTS

The play has been called off for the day. It had to happen once the rain gods intervened. The downpour was pretty heavy and any chance of a restart was far fetched thought. Before that, though it rained runs as Rohit Sharma wore his new avatar - as an opener - just like he would have worn his most comfortable tee. He got to his 4th Test ton and his accomplice also got into the 80s before rain stopped play minutes before tea.
